WHAT WE USE

Ilocos Sea Salt

P120/350 grams

Our go-to salt for our fermentation needs–traditional small-scale production, sun-dried, unbleached, and non-iodized. We recommend you use this to replace refined iodized table salt. 

Ingredients: 100% natural sea salt from Ilocos

Storage: Because this salt is made traditionally and sold as harvested, it has some moisture content. This salt has no anti-caking agents. We recommend storing this salt in a dry spot in your pantry with a few grains of raw rice or dried beans to avoid clumping.

WHAT WE MAKE

Kimchi Paste

P250 per 16 oz jar of kimchi paste (approximately two cups)

Make kimchi anytime! We regularly make small batches of our fresh vegan “Kimchi This Kimchi That” paste that is ready to use on wombok cabbage, radish, cucumber, chili peppers, or other fruits or vegetables you want to turn into kimchi. You can also use this in stir-fries, marinades, dressings, or mixed with your favorite sawsawan. 

Ingredients: Korean pepper flakes, aromatics, soy sauce, and glutinous rice porridge

Allergen advice: May contain soy and wheat

Storage: Keep refrigerated and use within two weeks. To freeze, first transfer to a freezer-friendly container. The paste can last for 3 to 4 months in the freezer.
